Your hotel is in a great central location. Our room was on the 5th floor and was really comfortable and generous in size. The staff were helpful and friendly. We do a lot of city breaks and your hotel was as good as any we have stayed in.

terrible expirence, had to change the room because we got a room next to the office. And they made a lot of noise. The second room we got was smaller, but we hope it would be possible to sleep there, we where wrong. you can hear everything thats going on in the hotell..shower next door, lightswitch getting pushed. If you want to sleep, dont stay at regina! btw: the location was great.

The service has always been up to standard.Housekeeping & room service were always very punctual.THE RECEPTION WAS ALWAYS HELPFUL TO CLIENTS.

I would give this hotel 2.5 points in the 5 scale , only cause we're welcomed with a glass of cold water in reception and cause is very close to the tub station. However we're given a room with an obscure window wasn't even sure what's the weather was like , the bed was comfy and the room was clean, been to many hotels but they have the loudest roomkeepers I have ever experienced. We arrived at midday and they were noisy then and again from the 8 AM, not paying attention to keeping quiet at all. We could literally hear them dragging beds and chairs in the room upstairs for hours. Really unconvinient I would hate staying there for more than 1 day or if you travel with kids that need to rest. Please also don't be deceived by the pictures the hotel is old fashion, a room is not worth more than £40GBP per day there.

Hotel is strategically located, surrounded with the best shops & restaurants nearby, and the metro a few meters away. The hotel staff were very accommodating & ready to help. Food in the hotel restaurant was great! Hotel amenities were great; we especially loved the Nespresso coffee! The newly refurbished rooms are awesome and we love the bathroom shower! I would definitely recommend Hotel Regina to my family & friends!

Ideal location near a metro station,5 min walk middle of madrid, cafes, restraurants, bars & shops. Helpful staff. We had a back bedroom, only problem you could hear furniture being moved around floor above & the room next door but this was only a small issue. Room had plenty of room, amble wardrobe space, with a safe within. Ensuite - shower powerful, 2 basins, clean, towels replenished daily. Hotel had a great atmosphere, buzz. We didn't eat in as we wanted to try different venues etc but if you want to you can have breakfast etc.

We loved staying at Hotel Regina. The hotel is absolutely beautiful , clean and in a perfect location close to Plaza Sol and to explore Madrid. The staff is also extremely helpful and polite. I would definitely stay there again and would tell others to do so also. Thank you very much for making our stay so wonderful.

Great location, great rooms, and the staff very nice....the ONLY big issue was that due to the great weather during october, the AC was off so inside the room the tempeture was around 25C too hot to be inside a room.

Anonymous guest

The room was very big and much bigger than I expected, which was great. And the room itself was great, except that it was on the third floor next to the office room and as employees would go in and out of the room, they often slammed the door. Even in the middle of the night they would do that, to where it woke us up a few times. The concierge also seemed to have very limited hours, as they were never available when we had questions. But the hotel overall was very nice and comfortable in a great location.

My favourite hotel in Madrid. Excellent service: professional, efficient, friendly, gracious. Very good restaurant. Very comfortable rooms of varying types and price points (I have tried four different types of rooms here.) Well-maintained infrastructure, from plumbing to lighting to WIFI. Great shower with Grohe fixtures and well-maintained tile. Wonderful furniture in the rooms, including very nice beds and leather sofas. Great location in the City, and yet one can sleep quietly and comfortably like at home. Front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff, bellhops, and housekeeping staff are all as helpful and efficient as one would want. Upon arrival, one feels at home. We have been staying here for years, and I recommend it most enthusiastically.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Regina...and liked it so much we came back! We stayed for four days in september and then returned for one night before flying out. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They kept a small suitcase for us while we traveled the camino. Our room was wonderful, very bright, clean, quiet....we slept well!! Had the buffet breakfast....very good and reasonable Excellent location....arrived from airport via metro and hotel was right outside stop....perfect location for walking to major attractions I would definitely recommend Hotel Regina to anyone visiting Madrid!

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time, We booked well in advance and had our rooms upgraded. Wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows. The consierege recommended a roof top bar and it was fantastic, a real hidden gem . The breakfast was good value and we would definately recomend this hotel.

I think you should advise people there is ongoing building work externally. I also think people would prefer to know if they have a view onto the street, the internal service area or no window at all. Hotel location good. Staff very helpful with excellent english. At Breakfast, staff provides water for tea in jugs that on several occasions was not as hot as it should be and we had to ask for more.

Wonderful location. Walking distance to the Prado, Retiro Park, several main plazas, stop for the CityTour, great eating places, etc.. Immaculate rooms with high quality linens. Excellent desk staff attention. Nice breakfast at a reasonable up charge. My room lost electricity briefly and the desk staff had someone rectify it within 5 minutes. The only reason i didn't give this a five is that I could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room (unfortunately at 1 AM), but I travel with earplugs, so all was OK. I would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend this to anyone traveling to Madrid

My stay at the Regina did not start out on a pleasant note. My early flight to Madrid had me arriving at the hotel around noon. After approaching the desk, I was told by a woman with glasses that I could pre-register but had to wait until 1:00 p.m. to check in. I found this acceptable and went to sit in the nearby area to wait. After a while, I started noticing that other people who arrived were automatically given a room. When I went to stand at the reception desk to inquire why, another woman gave me a funny look and immediately gave me a room. The room itself was at the end of a long hallway and very dark with the view of an air shaft. It was important for me to make a local call, but could not get an outside line. When I called the front desk, they sent the bellman up to help. Unfortunately, we couldn't communicate. He left and returned shortly thereafter with the key to another room. We went to that room, but it also didn't allow me an outside line. I then went to the front desk and was given some much appreciated help in securing the phone call I needed to make. When I tried to hand over the key to the new room, I was told that I was to move to that room. It was a very nice room, and I am still most appreciative to the manager for his giving it to me. My only problem with the room was in its being close to the stairs and the rudeness of loud fellow lodgers, something I do not blame the hotel for. You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Aside from the first reception person I encountered, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If one wants a particularly good breakfast buffet, one should definitely try the one in the hotel. The staff was also very helpful in setting up a day tour. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

If you want to be located right in the centre of Madrid, don’t look any further than Hotel Regina. It is just around the corner from the main thoroughfare (Gran Via), a short walk to Plaza Sol and Plaza Mayor. Walk 20 minutes one way and you are at the Royal Palace, 20 minutes the other way and you are at the Prado. Metro Sevila is just across the road and there are metro and Renfe stations 5 minutes away at Sol (handy for main train stations and airport). It is worth paying a bit more for the renovated rooms (great deals offered on the hotel website). These rooms are well appointed and very modern with small balconies. The breakfast is worth paying in advance; such a great choice, including champagne and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Regina is great value in a wonderful city.

Lovely, modern hotel with an art deco twist, in very central location of Madrid. Rooms were recently refurbished with lovely decor. Our room was a little small but not a problem when we were not there most of time. Room overlooked side street. Noise was minimal whilst we were there. Breakfast was continental with some cooked but all presented very well and food was good. Staff were very helpful to us on all necessary occasions, so all in all, a very good hotel, good alue for money and we would use it again.

Everything was brilliant, staffs were friendly and helpful, the room was decent!! However, it was quite noisy after mid-night, up till round about 5am. Some of the other guests at the same floor were slamming their door, talking loud at the corridor. I was awake few times each evening because of that. At the first evening, I through it probably might just be a discrete incident, but the next evening, I have experience the same.

We had a great stay. Our room was nice, hotel has a great location to major tourist spots and staff was friendly.

Jennie Saunders

Excellent location, clean and modern. Very comfortable stay. The breakfast in the cafe at around 4 euro for bacon and eggs was great value. Located very close to plaza del sol which seemed to be the main hub of the old city. Would definitely stay there again.

Isabella Sharratt

Lovely room, centrally located hotel, good breakfast and bar food, cost effective drinks and very helpful receptionists.

We enjoyed our stay at the Regina and found the staff to be particularly helpful, especially Laura.M.

Same comments as given for our other stay in this hotel from 14th to 16th Aug. Again had to stay on the same 2nd floor.

Rameen Hashmi

Stayed on 2nd floor, where apparently renovation work was going on throughout our stay. We were given a room just adjacent to the room where the work was going on, we therefore were subjected to construction noises whenever we were in our room. Mattresses and pillows in our room have also completed their useful life and need to be replaced.

Het hotel in de ligging is heel goed. Dicht bij alles wat er te zien valt. Elke dag kregen we verse lakens . Personeel heel vriendelijk . Een aanrader

We did enjoy that the hotel was almost close to all places we visit cultural and gastronomic . Breakfast in the hotel was excellent . Stuff very helpful When we think coming back to Madrid we certainly stay in Regina hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to walk to all of the sites. The rooms were clean and roomy. The only complaint was a strange terrible order in the room which we think was coming from the air vents.

Stayed here in August...our second visit' we had a large room with two window balconies At the rear of the hotel.very quite.the furnisher was very and bathroom spotless. The only comment with the bathroom was the glass door with frosted glass!! Would stay again. Great position for seeing Madrid, two mins from Sol square and underground outside the hotel.

Great location, lovely hotel!

The hotel was very clean, our room was a great size and had air con and a small balcony so we had plenty of fresh air! Breakfast was good to set you up for the day and there are plenty of places to eat near the hotel. Sevilla metro is literally opposite the hotel which made traveling really simple. The staff were very helpful amd polite and we ordered room service on two occasions and it arrived very quickly! Perfectly placed hotel to explore Madrid!

The location is great, all what you need is walking distance. Between two subway stations. The hotel is very clean, well kept, and most importantly a friendly staff. My 15-year old son and I both enjoyed our short stay and I would recommend the place without hesitation.

Sigrid Peer

Top located at the center of Madrid. Friendly reception, chic and modern rooms.

Andrew Singer

We were staying in a room for two adults and two children, which had four twin beds. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff of the hotel were friendly and accommodating and the location was perfect. Overall, this was a perfect place for our family stay in Madrid!

Li Jiang

Great location! Room was renovated, bathroom very spacious and clean. Great experience. Right on the exit of metro station, that makes going to/from airport very easy by metro. Breakfast was so so -- it was ok but nothing standing out. Very limited selection of fruits, there was churro but there was no hot chocolate to dip into. Overall, a great hotel to stay in Madrid. I'd definitely come back if I'm in Madrid again.

I have stayed since 1990', the service has changed. I had special lunch (arroz a la cubans) by staff this time, because my japanese friends serve spanish food in bar and I had to eat it to report them and I asked of him.

laura made a good job You need to chck your internet , if people take more than one room

Perfect hotel! The restaurant inside serves great food, and the location is good. Right next to the puerta del sol and an easy walk to the art museums. Would stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic location, walking distance to many attractions and the metro is just outside your door! The room was very clean, the bathroom was really nice. High quality breakfast also.Minor disadvantages: my room was a little bit smaller than expected and gave a wierd sensation with its sides not being even. Old tv with bad reception and a really old, hung up to the wall hair dryer, with which you just can't dry your hair. Overall, a very nice comfortable stay. I would definatelly go back.

Our stay in Hotel Regina was fabulous. from the moment we spoke to the staff at the front desk to the time we left we knew it was the perfect hotel for us. The rooms were roomy and very clean. The location was perfect for exploring Madrid. We had drinks in the lobby and they were made to perfection. Would definitely stay again.

Second visit to Hotel Regina and will stay here whenever I visit Madrid. Good quality hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was facing a side street which was quiet and discovered a good bar to eat in through looking out the window. Good quality furnishings in room with good sized bathroom but could wish for a larger shower but that is personal taste. Tried room service which was efficient and not as expensive as I thought it would be. We stayed for five nights and cost of room is very reasonable, I think, for central Madrid. Hotel is next to Sevilla metro stop and less than five minutes to Gran Via and Plaza del Sol which makes it very easy to get everywhere. A great place to stay.

The desk clerk upgraded our room to accommodate a third person which was very helpful. We also got good advice on getting to the airport and where we could go in order to ship some items home. Very nice hotel and excellent service.
